Trick or Treat practice

The last couple days I have been making a trick or treat bag for Jordan. Really nothing special just some felt sewn together. Well today I set up my sewing machine to finish the handles on the bag and Jordan came running over and climbed up on my lap. He is fascinated by the sewing machine and wanted to be right there in all the action. Too cute of a moment to pass up...
Once I finished the bag, I then wanted to teach him how to trick or treat. Luke thought I was crazy but went along with it. So Luke took some animal crackers and went in the bedroom and shut the door. Then I knocked, he opened the door, I said trick or treat, and he dropped the animal crackers in the trick or treat bag. Now it was Jordan's turn...I told him to knock on the door and that was it...complete meltdown. He started balling and trick or treat practice was over. I have a feeling that sitting on Santa's lap is not going to happen this year either...
