We're back...

Lately it seems like all my posts begin that way...

Once again we are back from another trip. This time we went to Chicago to see Kari and Isaac (luke's sister and brother in law) and to celebrate Luke's grandparents 60th anniversary.

(and yes, I stole this picture from Mandy's blog)

Kari and Isaac just returned from their trip to Kenya--so cool. They had a great time and some really cool pictures to share. They are off to Manhattan for their next adventure and we will miss them!

Luke's dad goes to Oshkosh almost every year and picked this up for Jordan... ...he's an astronaut! Perfect timing--I was just trying to figure out what he should be for halloween. He looks so cute running around in it.

PS- Because I'm a dork, I changed my blog title and it in turn changed the address for my blog- this is the new one, if you want it. I didn't disappear!

That is THE perfect Halloween costume for a one year old! You can layer warm clothes underneath if needed and it has handy pockets for the main binkie and a couple spares.

So what are you and Luke going to be for the spooky holiday? NASA scientists? Air and Ground and Baby traffic control? Martians?

How about really big moon rocks? Like Mom said it is important to be able to layer for warmth and still wear your costume over your coat. This was a very valuable lesson that I learned when she forced me to wear my rain coat over my princess dress. As you can see I may have forgiven but I have not forgotten.
