Holy Batman!

The last couple days Jordan's been asking me to make him a batman cape. So this morning we got up and rode our bikes to the fabric store and he picked out the fabric for his cape. I used this tutorial and within a few hours he had his new batman cape! He loves it and was super excited to model it off and send pictures to daddy. Here you go dad, we miss you!

***If you're thinking of making one and you use the tutorial that I posted above, I would recommend making the ties shorter. I wanted to use velcro (safety reasons) instead of tying them but they are super long so I need to shorten them. That will have to wait til he's asleep seeing as he hasn't taken it off since I finished it.

What a fun mom you are and such a great seamstress! Now if you could just whip this (http://www.potterybarnkids.com/room/rom/romnur/romnurcoc/) up for me you'd be #1 on my list. ;-)

Jordan has the best mom, I wish that cape could get him here for a few days. Cape is so much more fun the cake. Granny S
