2 Year Old for Sale.
I put Jordan down for a nap today and after about 15 minutes I could see he had turned the light on in his room and could hear him playing. We're at the point where some days he takes a nap and other days he doesn't. So I figured I would leave him alone and let him (and me) have quiet time. A little while later I noticed it was quiet and went to check on him and discovered he had actually been quite busy during 'quiet' time and had trashed his room and then fallen asleep in the middle.
What is it with kids and their need to pull every wipe out of the package?

so funny! I love it. Those are scary times when the naps start to disappear! He's so cute!
Amen to the wipe thing! Georgia is the worst! Jordan is so cute. It is sad to say so long to naps.
How funny with the wipes and everything! I'm barely ready to let go of Anna not taking naps anymore :)
Maybe he just felt dirty and needed to be clean and fresh in order to truly relax and fall asleep. Being two is hard work, constantly changing that attitude can make a kid sweat more than daddy playing a game of b ball with the guys. Granny S

Okay, I love that we are totally on the same page. If Jeffrey hasn't taken his nap by three he doesn't get one and he goes to bed by 7:30 or 8. A friend of mine gives her kids "quiet time" every day, where they go in their room and play, color, and most of the time they do fall asleep. It is a routine for them. And the mom gets a break. What is it with the wipes/tissues!?
Alicia, Your post made me laugh out loud. That is so funny! You sure have a cute little boy. Only.. is room looks identical to mine growing up. (Don't worry- I am a little cleaner now.)
Ugh.. don't get me STARTED on the WIPE thing! I will never understand it!
