I can just hear mom clap her hands loudly and say firmly, "Get off the counter" almost like she does with the cats. I doubt she would do that with one of her grandsons and because it is at your house you can do what ever you want!
He looks like a leprechaun hiding under the cabinet. I'm thinking though that I might bring a spray bottle of kitchen counter cleaner when I come to visit:)
