My parents came out to visit the end of September beginning of October and we had a great time with them. We went out to Galena, Illinois (northwest part of the state, right on the edge of Wisconsin and Iowa) and played for a few days. We shopped the shops on main street, took a boat tour of the Mississippi, drove the country roads, played dominoes, swam in the hotel pool, played golf, and snacked at the hot sauce bar. Jordan went swimming for the first time...and wasn't too sure about it. He LOVES taking baths and showers at home but I think the pool was a bit too cold.

We also blessed him while my parents were here.
And of course a great part of having my parents come to visit were the projects they did for me...

They are so good to us!
