Devil's Lake

Well, we have been very busy since we got back from Seattle. I looked at my calender this morning and was relieved to see that I do not have anything to do until Saturday--what a GREAT feeling. Then I walked in the other room and saw the PILES of laundry, carpet that needed to be vacuumed, floors to mop, a bathroom to clean....oh well at least I have all week to do it.
We just got back from a 4 day camping trip at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Luke's family has been going almost every year for the last 13 years and they have camping down to a science. They sleep in tents, cook over the fire or a camp stove, hike/boulder, and just have a good ol' time. Jordan and I stayed at a hotel in town--I figured it wasn't fair that EVERYONE in the National Park should wake up every three hours with Jordan. It turned out to be the best way to camp. Sleep in a heated hotel room, somewhat comfy bed, shower in the morning, and yet I still enjoyed the s'mores, hikes, and outdoors. By far the best part of our trip was hiking through all the fall colors. Here are a few pictures...
