Jordan is a fish in water. He loves to go to the pool and he is such a good little swimmer but he lacks the confidence in himself sometimes. He can do a lot more than he thinks. So tonight I bribed him into swimming across the pool with frozen yogurt. Then to get him to do it again, so hopefully he would become more confident in himself, I told him he could do his own toppings AND as many as he wants. That's a big deal since I usually let him pick two toppings and I put them on. So he did it and we celebrated with chocolate frozen yogurt topped with cookie dough, brownies, gummie bears, sour patch kids, m&m's, peanut m&m's, skittles, and lucky charms.
I think I'll try fro yo to bribe the training wheels off his bike again...

No offense, but... that looks gross! I guess I'm not one for tons of sugar. Glad it works for Jordan, though!
When I come in a week can I swim a round trip across the pool to get my own fro yo with all the toppings I want? Will Jordan put them on for me?
I'm with "C." looks a little gross but if it worked and got him to believe in himself, so be it. Maybe he should come teach my 4 yo that she can do a lot more in the pool than she thinks too!
Swimming is a life long skill and if it takes all the yogurt with sugar on top of it GO FOR IT... Maybe I will teach that in my next session of swim lessons, after all he did eat a bowl of cheese soup... Cant wait to swim with him. Granny S
