Last weekend we checked out the Got to be NC Festival at the state fairgrounds. It was like a mini state fair with all the fair foods, rides, booths, etc. Our favorite part was definitely the little petting zoo. I thought for sure J would be too scared to feed the animals but he totally surprised me. He saw some other kids feeding them and followed their lead. I was shocked. We bought a little bag of carrot slices and he fed most of those to the goats and to the camel with dad's help.

All your outdoor activities are making me jealous! I keep waiting for a nice warm day to play outside, but it just isn't happening around here!
