Who knew getting your picture taken with your mom on Mother's Day could be so painful?!
He was sweet enough to end my Mother's Day suspense by telling me yesterday what he got me. He walked through the door after running errands with Luke and proudly exclaimed, "MOM! We got you plants!"

really, why are photo shoots on those "important" days so painful? Really, it just takes like 3 or 4 seconds of holding a straight face--not even a smile, just a face and it is over! But alas, that is far to much to ask of a toddler, isn't it?
