Wow!

First, I have to tell you about Inkubook. My friend Christina told me about it and saved me TONS of money. They make photobooks like shutterfly, winkflash, etc. and if you fill out a short survey online they will give you a FREE photo book, any size, and as many pages as you want. I am still shocked by it! I checked out the website and they look pretty nice so I uploaded all my pages, made my book, and ordered it. Sixty pages later and the only cost was $4.99 for shipping. I still can't believe it! It should come in about a week or so and I will be sure to let you know what I think of it.

Here is the link to the survey... survey Oh and the coupon is good until JUNE!

A couple answers to questions about my family scrapbook...

I use Photoshop Elements 4.0 (I know I should upgrade but I hate the dark look of the updated versions) to create all my scrapbook pages. I open a blank document and create my pages from scratch or a template. I've bought most of my digital papers, embellishments, etc from Designer Digitals. So think scrapbooking and all the stuff that comes with it except now it's all on your computer and no mess to clean up! And once you buy a paper or embellishment or brush or whatever, you can use it as many times as you want. So really I think you spend WAY less this way then traditional.

Again, I love Photoshop Elements because they organize all my pictures by date so when I had time to work on a page I would go pull a bunch of pictures from around the same time and get to work--super easy. I tried to sit down every Sunday and do a layout with pictures from that week...but that didn't always happen. That's why I'm rethinking my format for this year...

The best part is if you don't want to spend the money on buying your own digi scrap papers, brushes, embellishments etc., Shutterfly and other photobook companies have books already ready for you to just load your pictures into it. In fact Shutterfly has some REALLY cool ones.

I think that answered all the questions. Let me know if you have any others. :)
