Goose Egg

Last night at the park Jordan tripped on a step and tumbled--landing only one step down, thank goodness--but unfortunately he landed right on his forehead. The goose egg grew instantaneously and was pretty scary looking. Infact it made his hemangiomas look wimpy. We tried to take him home to put ice on it but through all the tears and crying he asked to go on the swings...
I actually think he's crying in this picture because I'm taking a picture of him. He calmed down just after his fall and swung for a little bit and then we took him home to ice his goose egg and eat some pudding.

Today it looks a lot better and the swelling is almost gone leaving a nice black and blue mark.

Poor kid!

All I can say is OUCH!!! Poor thing! Glad he's O.K. and what a little trooper going on the swings right after! :)

That is so painful looking!!! Hope he feels better soon. Also, turns out we're going to be at Devil's Lake the same weekend as you guys. Pretty random, huh? Anyway, Lucy invited us to come roast marshmallows, so maybe we'll see you!

Wow! That is "the mother" of all goose eggs. It's a good thing he has such a hard head.

Holy Cow! I hate to say it, but that looks So bad! I'm glad that it's gone down though. Poor kid, I feel so bad for him, I swear he is always falling or tripping. It must be a 2 year old thing, because my girls are the same way too.

It is definitely a two year old thing! I feel for you. They just love to play and run and kick and scream their little hearts out. Hope all is well.
