Jordan started to get a cold last week...then came pink eye...then a constant runny nose...and now a cough that kept him (and me) up all night last night. Poor kid can't catch a break.
So yesterday the weather was gorgeous and I thought we'd go to the park and get some fresh air and sunshine. We'd been there about a half hour playing and having a great time and then...he fell off the slide. The park is set on a hill and you park your car at the top of the hill and then there are stairs or three slides down to the playground at the bottom. The slides are about two stories high but they have planters with wood chips in them every three or four feet. He goes down these slides all the time--even though there is a sign that says he's too young--and hasn't had a problem...yet. So we were racing down the slides and he lost control and flipped over the edge only about 1/3 of the way down. He landed in the wood chips (only about a three foot fall) and started howling. He was covered in dirt and wood chips and snot--bad combination. So I took him back to the car and got him all cleaned up and he survived with only a few scrapes.

Can't wait, maybe I will take him down those same slides. Quilt is awesome and when I saw Jordan holding the baby I DID NOT think it meant number 2 for you. Granny S>
OH, I hate to see Jordan sad. It just doesn't suit him!! Good thing he had his mom there with him to give those extra hugs kids need at sad times
That stinks! Sorry Jordan's sick. I hope that he starts to feel better!

He is so cute. Snot and all. Not that I see any in this picture. You are such a good mom Alicia.
