So much for time out.

Jordan's new vocabulary word is 'no'. It's not just a simple 'no' it comes off as a very bratty 'noooooo'. He says it to everything. Sometimes he uses it correctly and other times he doesn't. Today on the way home from story time he kept saying it. To who or what? I don't know. So after a day filled of no's I had had it. My last straw was when he climbed up on some boxes and grabbed a bunch of computer software cds and started throwing them across the room. I asked him to get down and in the most bratty way he said, 'NOOOO!' So into time out he went. I know he's too young for it but at this moment it was more a time out for me than him. So I sat him on a chair facing a wall and went back into the office to pick up the cds. Twenty seconds later I walk back into the family room to find him doing this....At least he was being safe and holding onto the chair for balance.
