Busy Busy Busy

That would be our family. In the last two weeks we have spent 26+ hours in the car driving here there and everywhere!

Here is a picture filled update of what we have been doing...

So two weeks ago we came home from church and Jordan had a fever. It lasted three days and then he broke out in a rash.Pictures just don't do this rash justice--it was bad. Luckily though it didn't itch or irritate him.

Wednesday Jordan and I drove down to Chicago (Luke's sister was getting married that weekend) and first thing Thursday morning I had him in to see the pediatrician. She thought it could be a couple different things but wasn't too worried.

That night Luke's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner-bbq so the families could meet before the big event. Great food, great family. Then...long story very short--we ended up in the ER with Jordan. He was acting really weird and we were worried something might be wrong. Of course by the time we got to the ER he was back to his old self. The doctor went ahead though and ran bloodwork and a CT and everything came back good so they sent us home. Jordan did not like when they tried to take his blood and proceded to try and pull the IV thingie out so they had to wrap up his arm.

Friday was the wedding reception downtown at Promontory Point . It is this really cool old building right on Lake Michigan.

Her colors were red and purple and everything looked so beautiful.
This was during the bouquet toss and you can see the four bridesmaids--two purple, two red. Kari spent a month in India last summer and brought back yards and yards of silk and that was what the bridesmaids dresses were made out of. This was Jordan's reenactment of the bouquet toss.
And a few more pictures from the reception...
Last but not least...
