Happy New Year

2 hours and counting til our new year celebrations begin. It has become a tradition in Luke's family that we make gingerbread houses and then blow them up with dry ice--so fun. Here are a few pictures of the houses before...

Above, Left to Right: Mine, Lucy's, Lisa's, Randy's, Kari & Isaac's

And yes, that is a swastika on the roof of Lisa's house. We decided that Luke would be the official gingerbread house judge and she was trying to brown nose votes. (Luke is not a Natzi lover--but he loves WWII and is constantly watching shows on the Hitler Channel, I mean the History Channel.)

So in case you are intrigued by our dry ice bombs, here is a little video from two years ago. This is just dry ice in a 2 liter bottle. http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c103/poppigirl06/?action=view&current=Video002.flv And as a safety warning dry ice bombs can be very dangerous--so be careful!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
