It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
If Chicago is going to completely skip fall and head straight to winter... than I'm going to skip Thanksgiving and head straight for Christmas. I was at Target today and their chocolate advent calendars were on sale!!! (let's be honest--even if they weren't on sale I still would have bought one) So now that I have my advent calendar I am ready for Christmas.
A lot has been going on in the Spencer house...a lot of SLEEPING that is! Jordan slept through the night THREE nights in a row. I tell you it's like Christmas around here already! I am LOVING the much needed sleep I am getting--now if only I could make up for the last FOUR months...
Jordan is getting more and more personality every day. He tries so hard to blow raspberries but ends up drooling all over himself...
I tried to take a few more pictures in his cowboy costume to see if I could get a good one...
But true to form he puked and ended the photo session very quickly...

My mom's response...he's a little cowpuke!
As for me...I am LOVING my job at Archiver's. It truly is a dream job for me. I work with the most creative girls ever and am constantly getting inspired to do new projects...so far I think I've spent more money in the store than I've made...yikes!
And then there's Luke...he now has a reputation in the stake...not for being a spiritual giant or a selfless giver...but for making sure that no matter what obstacle stands in the way--there will be weekly basketball. This past week it just happened to be that the pulley that lowered the basketball hoop was jammed and Luke volunteered to climb up a ladder (that was standing on a table) then he grabbed the hoop and climbed up the hoop/backboard to the pulley system--30 FEET IN THE AIR--and fixed the problem. Some would call him stupid but at least 20 guys in the stake now call him their hero.
